Easter Blessings - Καλό Πάσχα !!!

Hello Everyone!
Happy Easter!

Today is the day we celebrate Easter!
And because of that, I wanted to share 3 Easter cards that I made super quickly!

I came across an Easter bunny funky foam shape (the ones that kids use for crafts) and I had the idea to use it as mask and spray some COSMIC SHIMMER color spays on top! I love the results!
And the spray colors are amazing! I can't get enough!

You can find the Cosmic shimmer color mists here.

By the way, the greeting is from this set from Clearly Besotted!

Enjoy,
Happy Easter!

THANK YOU layered stamped cards

Hello!
Today I would like to share 3 cards I made using the layer stamping technique along with some masking and gold heat embossing.
The floral stamp set I used is the Wplus9 Pretty Little Peonies and it is perfect. You stamp the flower parts in different colored inks and you end up with amazing floral images!

How To Make The Cards

1. Use a pice of card stock and stamp the thank you greeting circle in the middle with Versamark. Apply gold embossing powder and then heat set it.

2. Cut a mask out of some masking paper or post it notes in the same size of the circle and stick it on top of the gold embossed sentiment.

3. Using the stamps from the Wplus9 Pretty Little Peonies, stamp the images making sure you overlap the masked circle. The final result is to show that flowers come from behind the circle.
Start with the most solid image of a flower with the lightest ink and then layer the more detailed one on top with the darker color and finish with the most detailed/outline stamp with the darkest color.
It is very easy to figure out which stamp goes with the other but you have to play with them so you get the hang of it. Then its easy!!!

4. When you move on to the next flower or leaves, stamp the same images on some masking paper or post it note, cut the masks out and use these masks to cover the stamped images so you don't end up with overlapped images.

5. Once you finish stamping, remove that masks, cut the stamped pieces to size, mat them and adhered to the cards.
You can use foam adhesive to pop them up, or normal adhesive if you need a more flat look.

DoCrafts Goody Bag Jan2014 Inspiration !

Hello hello!
Here I am after a long time....!

I am back with few projects I created with the newest DoCrafts Goody Bag!

The newest DoCrafts goody bag includes:
-Sew Lovely 12x12 pattern paper pack
-Sew Lovely pin wheels
-Sew Lovely ribbons
-Sew Lovely die-cuts sheet
-Madame Payraud stickers
-Madame Payraud letter stickers
-Papermania capsule collection Parisienne Blue Notelets
-Papermania capsule collection Parisienne Blue buttons
-Papermania tall urban stamp

All products included in the goody bag are selected from their newest lines. They match perfectly! And you can use them not only for cards but for all your paper craft hobbies! And you save money with the goody bag instead of buying the products individually! :-)

Lets start with the projects....

First of all a small card set!
Here I simply cut a standard card in the middle ( for creating 2 top folded smaller ones) and is the perfect size for using them with small envelopes that are available in the market.
I used the ribbons from the Goody Bag that I glued on the bottom part of the card using some strong double sided tape.
Then I used a greeting from the free stamp set that come with the newest magazine. What I did besides that stamping it with black ink, is I cut the stamp and I lined up the words so I can have them stamped straight.
By doing that, you get more out of your stamps and you can use them how they originally intended.

I used a button for a finishing touch!

For that one, I used the new DoCrafts ARTISTE SPRITZING INK in white. This product is fantastic. It is a water based paint with a shimmer. It adds to the card a nice touch!
For the heart, I used a small square punch to punch out squares from the 'Sew lovely' 12x12 paper pack that is included in the goody bag.
Then I adhered all of the pieces onto a piece of typing paper that was large enough for die-cutting a heart from it. After die-curtting the heart from my 'new' pattern paper, I did the same from a square kraft card from Papermania.
I adhered the heart on the inside of the card, and I finished the card with a dashed line around the heart and the sentiment which I heat embossed on a piece of vellum and I adhered it on the front of the card. For a finishing touch I added 2 stacked buttons from the new 'Sew Lovely' collection from Papermania.

This is the easiest of the projects!
I started with a piece of the patterned paper which I used as my background.
The red heart is heat embossed with white on some red paper from the 'Sew lovely' 12x12 paper pack that is included in the goody bag.
I scattered some of the buttons around the heart, also from the 'Sew Lovely' collection along with some white pearls and I put the whole piece in an IKEA frame! I heat embossed the 'You are sew lovely' greeting on some kraft paper and inked the edges with walnut stain distress ink.
All stamps used are also from the free set that comes with the newest magazine.
A great gift for everyone!

Nothing wow here, except these wonderful 'Sew Lovely pin wheel' that comes pre-made and it is included in the goody bag.
I covered the card completely with patter papers from the 'Sew lovely' 12x12 paper pack that is included in the goody bag.
Then I adhered a circle that I die-cut from the new 'Papermania bare basics - canvas 8x8 squares'. On top I used the pin wheel, and then I adhered a banner on which I used the 'Madame Payraud' letter stickers that are included in the goody bag, for the word I LOVE YOU.
Simple as that!

Some of the products that I really liked are

The new Docrafts Artiste spritzing ink that comes in many colors....

The new 'Sew Lovely' buttons bag - great value for so many buttons! And so unique colors :-)

The new 'Madame Payraud' buttons ... great vintage buttons that are hard to find.

I hope it inspires you to create!

DoCrafts March Goody Bag Cards

Hello people!
Few days ago I got in my hands the new March goody bag that contained some really interesting products....

The first two cards are really simple and took seconds to be done!!!

Simple and cute, these Heartwarmers form Docrafts...( the two that come in the goody bag are 'Thoughts' and 'Thinking of you') are basically 9 die-cut toppers per sheet with some really interesting designs and lots of glitter for many many different occasions...

For this purple card, I used again one the die-cut toppers, but I punched lots of small circles and glued them on the bag side of the topper. Then I embossed the purple card stock with dots embossing folder and my Sizzix Big Shot, and then with a white gel pen and a ruler I drew lines and created this harlequin pattern(so easy and so fun). The topper is on dimensional adhesive!!!

For this card I used some purple ribbon that comes in the bag, some yellow ribbon for contrast and a small die-cut topper from Hearwarmers. The white dots on the background are .... enamel accents from Ranger...really cool :-)
Finally, a card I made with Boofle products. Papers mainly, since you get the 12''x12'' pack, that are single sided papers. The idea for this card came from Boofle's website (http://www.boofle.co.uk/) and Boofle is cut from the inside cover paper of the paper collection! No waist!!!

All products above are available at Stitches, Stitching and Craft Supplies, 59 Griva Digenis Street, Ayios Tychonas, 4521 Limassol, Cyprus, Tel:00357 25345618
